Elder Mulkern was my first companion and I, his last.  We tracked many hours and fasted for the people of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.  He did love the Indian people and their lore.  I'm not surprised to learn of his love for scouting.  I'm sad that I didn't get in contact with him before his death.
